Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 September 2026
1. Who we are
Gabbr (“Gabbr”, “we”, “us”) operates this service. By using Gabbr you agree to these terms. You must be 18 or over. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. What Gabbr does
Gabbr lets a creator sell live one-to-one audio calls. Creators set a per-minute price; fans pay up front for a fixed number of minutes. Gabbr provides the booking, payment and call infrastructure. The conversation itself is between the creator and the caller — Gabbr is not a party to it.
3. Payment and fees
Callers pay in advance through Stripe. Gabbr retains 20% of each connected call (15% where a referral applies), and the creator receives 80%. Creators are paid out to their own Stripe account. Payouts are not automatic: a creator requests a withdrawal from their dashboard once their Stripe account is connected, and funds must have settled at Stripe first.
4. Refunds
- If the creator never connects to you, you are refunded in full, automatically.
- If you leave the queue before the call starts, you are refunded in full.
- If a call ends early because the creator hung up, the connection failed, or the language filter ended it, your unused minutes are refunded pro rata.
- If you hang up yourself, or the paid time runs out, no refund is due.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take several days to appear. If something went wrong that is not covered above, contact support.
5. Conduct
Do not use Gabbr for anything illegal, for harassment, for sexual content involving minors, to impersonate anyone, or to record the other party without their consent. Creators may end any call at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and withhold funds associated with fraudulent or disputed transactions.
6. The language filter
Creators can switch on a language filter. It works by transcribing each participant's own microphone in their browser and flagging prohibited language — see the Privacy Policy for what that involves.
It is a best-effort tool, not a guarantee. It reacts after something has been said, it cannot mute, bleep or delay audio, it does not work in every browser, and it will both miss things and occasionally flag ordinary speech. Do not rely on it as your only brand-safety measure on a live broadcast.
7. Availability
Calls depend on your browser, your microphone and your network. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Where a call fails, the refund rules in section 4 apply.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Gabbr is limited to the amount you paid or earned through Gabbr in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
